During this in-person session, paraprofessionals will engage in collaborative activities and discussions. The activities and discussions are specifically designed for paraprofessionals to practice strategies that they can then implement in their classrooms under the guidance and direction of their IEP team members. Paraprofessionals who attend the session will gain valuable insights into how to effectively collaborate and support students of different age groups and with diverse learning needs. This, in turn, will enhance the motivation and determination of the students, leading to increased dynamic participation. By attending this event, participants will gain valuable skills that can boost student self-sufficiency and decrease dependence on prompts.
